Riverside Academy is thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our alumna, Joana Mensah Kusi, who was recently crowned Lady of the Year at the 2024 HESA Excellence Awards, organized by the Health Sciences Students’ Association at KNUST. This prestigious honour recognizes her outstanding leadership, impact, and commitment to excellence.
Joana holds a special place in Riverside Academy’s history as the first and only student to achieve a perfect score in the BECE, obtaining 9 Ones in 2019. She continued her academic journey at Wesley Girls Senior High School, Cape Coast, and is now pursuing her passion for healthcare as a second-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at KNUST.
Her trailblazing achievements inspire the Riverside Academy community, reminding us that with determination, faith, and hard work, anything is possible. Joana’s story reflects the spirit of excellence we strive to instill in every student.
