Riverside Academy, kicked off the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year with a one-day training and development workshop for its teaching staff. This training and development session took place on Friday, September 29, 2023 and was held in the school's STEM Room.
The workshop featured an impressive lineup of facilitators, each a seasoned expert in their field:

Eric Ntiamoah - G.E.S - Ejisu Private School Coordinator
Robertson Amponsah - JHS Headteacher
Georgina Achiaa - Headteacher, Primary School and Pre-School
The workshop was made up of different modules designed to resource and inspire staff of the school:
Defining Our School's Identity: An exploration of Riverside Academy's core values and mission, reaffirming the institution's commitment to excellence.
Classroom Management and Lesson Presentation: Insights into effective classroom management techniques and engaging lesson presentation methods, ensuring a vibrant and interactive learning environment.
Write Well, Speak Well: A session dedicated to enhancing communication skills, both in writing and verbal expression, to facilitate effective teacher-student and teacher-parent interactions.
School Records Management: An essential component of school administration, focusing on the meticulous management of academic records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
The day was climaxed with all staff of the school celebrating their collective hard work and dedication with a special after-party organized by the school management as a token of appreciation. The highlight of the feastwas a sumptuous serving of Fufu and Goat Meat, a true Ghanaian delicacy.
The workshop also provided an excellent opportunity to welcome and induct new staff members into the Riverside Academy family, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
