The bootcamp began with an opening ceremony led by Rev. Mrs. Florentine Adjoa Ansah-Asare, focusing on the importance of technology in shaping the future of education. The participants were grouped into teams, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas among educators from various schools.
Throughout the event, participants attended several impactful sessions, including:
Innovative Use of Technology in Education: Facilitated by Mr. Godwin Fiagbor, this session encouraged teachers to use technology to enhance classroom experiences and engage students more effectively.
App Development Workshops: Led by Kevin Oteng and his team, this session taught educators how to develop simple, accessible educational apps tailored to meet the specific learning needs of students.
AI Integration in Lesson Planning: Participants were introduced to artificial intelligence tools and explored how AI can be integrated into lesson plans to create more personalized, interactive learning experiences.
The bootcamp also demonstrated practical ways to integrate technology into classrooms, including a session using everyday objects to create tech-driven lessons, proving that innovation is not always dependent on costly gadgets or software.
New Learning Tools and Resources.
One of the key outcomes of the bootcamp was the introduction of Freecodecamp.org, a platform that offers free coding education.
